We’re Shopping…

So today I bought another piece of code, and this time its written by a student. Albeit a talented one. It really is so easy to find great applications on the mac.

Mac Daddys

Went out today and bought the JBL Creature II 2.1 speakers and the new ultra thin Apple Keyboard, which is REALLY nice to type on. As good as typing on the laptop keys. The speakers are pretty special too. Bass is nice once you balance it out with the treble.

The Symbol

So I saw Prince tonight for the 2nd time. First time was back in August with Nikki (my fiancee). Tonight I went with a couple of the girls from the office.

Doing It Another Way

So there’s this new blogging tool for both Mac and PC, called Qumana. If you’re tired of going to your weblog and typing in a browser, this is what you’re looking for. It allows you to type up your post, or posts, add your images, tags and even your Ads, then add your Categories. You can do this in both WYSIWYG or Source View. Might want to try it, see how you like it.

Pimp My Ride!

I don’t know man, I really have nothing to say about this. Just enjoy!

Roll on October

I’m so tired of the silly weather we’re having in London. I can’t wait for the cold air to come. I don’t want heat anymore. Sick and tired of sweating like a pig in the tube, and needing another shower when I get to my destination.

And Then There Were More…

So I purchased a couple more small applications today.

Hazel : Is a file automation program / preferences, which automates actions depending on file types and / or extensions. So for example, if you download a lot of jpgs, and you manually have to move them to your photo/images folder, you can set Hazel to constantly check the desktop or any other folder for jpgs, and as soon as you drop one there, it moves it to where you want.

It’s a lot more than just that. But that’s what I am using it for. Torrent / Rar and zip files. Great app.

Mars Edit : is a great application for blogging. Instead of using the clunky web based UI of WordPress, I just use a very pretty (as all OS X apps are) user interface to communicate with WordPress and do my typing, organisation, editing etc. etc.

So now, I can blog from work, if I so wish. It’ll also entice me into doing more blogging.

All Things Geeky

I just sat through and watched the interview with Steve Jobs and Bill Gates at AllThings Digital Conference, talking about the past, present and their thoughts on the future. I am not sure this is for everyone, but I’ve more or less grown up with these guys inventions and products, so it was very interesting to watch. Mostly because you get to see how different each one thinks

Put on Your Headphones You Lazy Twat

The other night, I was thinking about the old days, the pre-mp3 player days, when people used to walk on the Underground with their ghetto blasters, and play their music, annoy the crap out of you with their crappy music, loudly.

Even More OS X Experiments

Tonight I managed to finally get the damn thing to work on my Intel based motherboard. Not only that, but I have a dual system running, which means I can run either OS X, or Windows-XP. All controlled from the Bios.

PHEW!!!!!! Finally!

More later.
