Role
I was in charge of giving the project’s general design direction while serving as the main designer for the Pinnacle Pet Group mobile app. Two teams had to work closely together on this; one was responsible for defining the company’s aims, while the other was in charge of development and design. I made sure the app matched the needs of its consumers while also aligning with the company’s goals by working closely with both teams.
Extensively collaborated with CX on finding user goals and created a variety of personas typical to the business. In the next stage of design, I worked with the UX research team to create user flows and wireframes, which allowed us to make early prototypes. These test versions were continuously evaluated and updated by my creative director and me to make sure thorough coverage of all user scenarios, including pet crises and the need for veterinarian help. Our method ensured that every conceivable user experience was carefully taken into account.
I provided direction and input to developers while we worked together on important elements like user flows, colour palettes, and visual appeal. To monitor project progress and take into account crucial input from stakeholders, regular design reviews were carried out.
As the design lead, it was my responsibility to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders while giving them clear direction and advice on important areas of focus. The end product was the beginning of a mobile app that satisfied Pinnacle Pet Group’s goals and objectives and was aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.
