Run a team of designers and help develop a white-label, multi-platform template easily customised to represent Warner Bros. Discovery channels in the UK and Europe.
ROLE
As the lead designer at Discovery Network International (now Warner Bros.), I worked on projects to redesign well-known brands such as DMAX, DPlay, TLC, Quest for Video on Demand (VoD) and live broadcast platforms. My experience spans various media, including mobile and tablets (iOS and Android), responsive web, Apple TV, Chromecast, and other devices (Samsung / LG TVs).
I have supervised the design and migration of Discovery marketing sites to Adobe Experience Manager internationally, ensuring seamless UX and UI for all new European projects. Additionally, I have managed a team of front-end UI developers based in Poland.
My expertise also includes art direction for DMAX, TLC, and QuestOD brands on iOS and Android platforms while simultaneously handling product design for the responsive web versions. I have successfully managed design resources and designers within an Agile environment.
RESULTS
In just nine months, as a team, we played an instrumental role in creating three comprehensive brands from scratch, featuring video on demand and live content from around the world for UK and German audiences. The resulting products have been highly successful, with websites and apps launched on time and within budget. These projects have received positive feedback from stakeholders and users, significantly increasing website traffic and user engagement.
